The Iron River Clinic brings together a suite of primary health care services. This allows us to create a team that puts the whole patient in the center. We currently offer family medicine and obstetrics, dental, behavioral health, chiropractic, physical therapy (via Orthopedic & Spine Therapy), pediatric occupational therapy, patient prescription services, health support services and more.
In Iron River, we can do lab and x-ray, along with mammograms via our partnership with Marshfield Clinic’s mobile mammo unit. To schedule an appointment for this service, call 715-221-6086.

We offer Chiropractic care for the whole family.
Chiropractic is a way of looking at the human body as a whole. It’s based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing. The spinal cord and vast network of nerves that carry its messages are just as important. When this system is not functioning at its peak, your body’s overall performance suffers.
Chiropractic treats the problem naturally and in turn prompts the body to heal itself. While it’s often perceived that the chiropractor solely treats back and neck pain, this is a small piece of what the profession is capable of handling.
We offer therapy and evaluative (testing) services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Competency Evaluations
- Diagnostic Psychological Evaluations
- ADHD Evaluations for Children and Adults
- IQ Evaluations
We offer outpatient psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and case consultation for both adults and youth. We provide evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents and adults for a multitude of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, postpartum and perinatal mental health issues, and much more.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy
We work with children to teens to gain independence and promote the development of skills needed to function and socialize in home, school, and community environments.
Patient Prescription Services
Patients can fill prescriptions at this location written by one of our providers.
NorthLakes Community Clinic’s Pharmacy and Remote Dispensing Site are “closed pharmacies.” This means we can only fill prescriptions written by our providers. If you have a prescription written by providers outside of NorthLakes, we cannot fill those prescriptions.
The pharmacist is required to talk to you each time you pick up a prescription. Closed daily between 12:30-1:00pm.
Provided by Orthopedic and Spine Therapy. Physical therapists are located in the clinic to provide rehab and pain management on site.
Health Support Services
Because patients have needs that go beyond traditional health care, our patient resource services offer a variety of tools that can help people in need. Assistance with enrolling in benefits programs, transportation, foodshare, referrals and care coordination.
Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH)
The patient-centered medical home is a way of organizing primary care that emphasizes care coordination and communication to transform primary care into “what patients want it to be.” NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition is the most widely-used way to transform primary care practices into medical homes.
ACCESSING CARE AFTER HOURS
If you are in an emergency, dial 9-1-1. If you have an issue after our regular hours, contact your local emergency room or urgent care provider. If you are a patient of NorthLakes and in the hospital, be sure to tell the staff that NorthLakes is your primary care provider, so that we can provide the best continuity of care.
NorthLakes Community Clinic also offers an after hours triage system for calls received after our clinics close.
