Chiropractic is a way of looking at the human body as a whole. It’s based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing. This spinal cord and vast network of nerves that carry its messages are just as important. When this system is not functioning at its peak, your body’s overall performance suffers.
Chiropractic treats the problem naturally and in turn prompts the body to heal itself. While it’s often perceived that the chiropractic solely treats back and neck pain, this is a small piece of what the profession is capable of handling.
Patient Support Services
Because patients have needs that go beyond traditional health care, our patient resource services offer a variety of tools that can help people in need. Assistance with enrolling in benefits programs, transportation, foodshare, referrals, and care coordination.
Khloe is Turtle Lake’s resident therapy dog.
She works hard doling out love and support to patients.
In collaboration with community fundraising, a 1:1 challenge match from Delta Dental and a generous donation from The Reeves Foundation, we have added a wheelchair operatory with a chair lift to our Turtle Lake Clinic. This operatory will impact 260 community members who utilize wheelchairs along with members of their household and caregivers.
ACCESSING CARE AFTER HOURS
If you are in an emergency, dial 9-1-1. If you have an issue after our regular hours, contact your local emergency room or urgent care provider. If you are a patient of NorthLakes and in the hospital, be sure to tell the staff that NorthLakes is your primary care provider, so that we can provide the best continuity of care.
NorthLakes Community Clinic also offers an after hours triage system for calls received after our clinics close.
