Health Care Reform
In January 2014, many people in Wisconsin will become eligible for Medicaid (BadgerCare). Other people will lose their Medicaid (BadgerCare) and become eligible for private insurance, which can be purchased with help from the government.
Most children under 19, and people who are elderly (over 65) or disabled (getting SSI or SSDI) will NOT have any changes to their insurance.
Parents of children who have MA/BadgerCare WILL be affected by these changes.
