Wed20Jul20165:00 pmFirst Lutheran Church, 10680 Main Street, Hayward, WI 54843
Wednesdays: 5:00 - 6:00pm
NorthLakes Community Clinic staff will be providing and serving the community dinner at First Lutheran Church in Hayward on July 20th, 2016. The First Lutheran Church has been hosting this dinner for many years.
Every Wednesday evening a community meal is served in the fellowship hall at First Lutheran Church. The meal is free of charge but if you wish, you may make a free-will donation. The meals are nutritious and are prepared and served by volunteers from the church congregation as well as volunteers within the community.
You are probably asking yourself, Why? Are there strings attached? What do they want from me in return? Will they preach to me and make me attend their worship services? The answer is…..no. We do it because we know that hunger and loneliness are prevalent in the world and in our very own community. We want to help by providing a hot meal each week in a friendly and welcoming environment to everyone and anyone in need.
So, come because you're hungry, come because you're lonely or come because you simply don't feel like cooking! No questions are asked, so please... just come!
